The Lead Masks Case

Alien abduction or time travel?

One afternoon in 1966, the nearby Vintém Hill in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,  the bodies of two dead men were found wearing identical  suits and protective lead masks over their faces, the kind that are used to protect against radiation poisoning.

Vintem Hill is a known UFO hotspot in the world.

Police  made their way to the scene only to find them in a severe state of decomposition. Right next to them were lying an empty bottle of water, a pair of towels and a notebook which contained the following message:

16:30Hs be at the determined place.  18:30 swallow capsule after effect, protect metals, and wait for mask signal.”

Manoel Pereira da Cruz and Miguel José Viana made a living repairing televisions. They  where seen a couple of days before on a bus heading to Niteroi, which is 160 miles and 3 hours away from where they were found.

Some of their close friends said  that Manoel and Jose were fascinated with UFO´s and electronics, and they knew that Vintem Hill was a UFO hotspot.
It has not yet been determined why they were found 160 miles away from where they were with no evidence to say it was murder.

45 years later, this story is still ridled with theories such as suicide, alien abduction and time travel.

ARE THE DEAD RESURRECTED ON JUPITER?

Tiles engraved on the floor, suggesting the dead are resurrected on planet Jupiter have been showing up in weird places all around the world for 30 years.

This strange message is contained on a tile surface and they have come to be referred as “Toynbee Tiles” after the famous historian Arnold J.  Toynbee.

The tiles made their first appearance in Philadelphia. New York, of course, is no exception. There are over 50 of them in Manhattan.

Most of these contain the same message “Toynbee Idea in Movie 2001- Resurrect Dead on Planet Jupiter”. It is believed that they are based on a Ray Bradbury science fiction story “The Toynbee Convector, which speaks of the need for humanity to always look for ways to survive, and on Kubrick’s classic movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” which speaks of colonizing Jupiter.

The majority of the 130 tiles known are in Philadelphia, which leads to believe the inventor of these resides there.

After so many years, these  have become a cult phenomenon where dozens of websites search for answers as to the identity and the reason for their existence.
There has not yet been any concrete explanation to this.

DETATCHED HUMAN FEET WASHING UP IN CANADA BEACHES

In British Columbia, Canada a place where people like to cut their feet off, are these just washing up on beaches, or should we be looking for a psycho killer at large?

Since August 2007, there have been human feet washing up in the beaches of British Columbia, Canada. Authorities have only identified four feet of three persons, it is not known whom the rest of the feet belong to.
It is known that 5 pairs of them belong to men, one woman and two others of unknown gender.

These feet have been detached from the body and are in poor conditions, some are beginning to disintegrate from the toes.
According to the New York Post, some investigators believe they are either remains of the 2004 tsunami or victims of a serial killer.

There are also some feet that have been showing up on with the shoes still on them. These are not decomposed, therefore there is another theory that they are from people who commit suicide from bridges that are on top of Rivers in Canada that flow to the Pacific Ocean and marine life feed from the body so the feet eventually come off it. This explains why the feet that are in shoes are intact. Fish can’t chew on shoes.

Bottom line, if you plan on vacationing in Canada´s Pacific side beaches, don’t be surprised if a couple of feet disturb your swimming!

DEAD MAN FOUND WITH NOTHING BUT A TORN PAGE WITH AN ENCRYPTED CODE.

On December 1st, 1948, the body of a man was discovered in Somerton Beast in Australia. He was carrying nothing but a train ticket for later that evening.

At first, authorities thought he was poisoned because there was no trace of any injury in his body, but it turned out he was completely clean of any toxins or foreign agents in his body.

He was very well dressed, but all the clothes he was wearing had the tag cut off, so authorities could not tell where they were from. Some days later, there was a suitcase found in the train station where he was supposed to go which was linked to the man because it also had the tag removed. But there was nothing in that suitcase that could prove his identity.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3c/SomertonManSuitcase.jpgAfter examining every inch of his clothing, detectives found a secret pocket on his pants that contained an encrypted message that said the words “Taman Shud”. This page matched a poem book called Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam.

It was found later in the car of another man who came upfront with the evidence.
“I had nothing to do with the murder of this man, the book just appeared in the back seat of my car” said the man who found the book.

Even now, after 60 years this mystery remains unsolved.
